The difference in the pictures is priceless: Asher stays inside and is just there (his shyness); while Lucy seems to say, here I am world! Too cute. Glad January is really nice for you too. I am enjoying down in Alabama too, but when it comes peach season I won't be so happy, they won't be near as sweet due to lack of cold:(

Life of a Doctor's Wife

They are SO CUTE. It sounds like a wonderful stage of life and I hope it just keeps getting better and better!

I dug my heels in over potty training for as long as I could, but then the kid had to go and decide she was READY. Now the constant "oh! I haffa go pee!" is DRIVING ME CRAZY. My husband even finally agreed having a potty trained child isn't everything its cracked up to be. I'm glad the training is over with so I don't have to worry about it, but other than that I'm not enjoying this.

Ahhh, the bathroom tours. My mom warned me that this would happen because she remembers it fondly after going through it with nine children (OMG, I KNOW). Visiting the potties at every establishment we visit is VERY EXCITING. Like at the library: "Oh, they have a special potty here too, Mama??" Or the grocery store: "Does this potty flush LOUDLY, Mama?"

I really do not miss changing the #2 diapers of a two year old though. So there's that.

I can't wait for this. Not to rush baby-time away, but MAN. I can't wait for this.
